Activated Charcoal is a natural feed supplement produced from coconut shells that are heated to very high temperatures to remove organic matter, then exposed to superheated steam to activate the charcoal. This process increases the surface area and absorbency of the material by over 300%, resulting in a highly porous structure with natural binding properties. It is presented as fine black granules that are odourless and tasteless.
Activated Charcoal is included to contribute to normal digestive tract health and normal gastrointestinal comfort, and is particularly well suited to use during periods of dietary change, travel, or competition.

Feeding guidance: Activated Charcoal is not intended for continuous use. Feed charcoal separately from other supplements, vitamins, and minerals.
